SNH48 is a Chinese mainland female idol group. It takes the pinyin abbreviation “ShangHai” of “Shanghai” and is named “SNH48”. It was officially established on October 14, 2012 and is divided into four teams: SNH48 Team SII, SNH48 Team NII, SNH48 Team HII, and SNH48 Team X. Together with BEJ48, GNZ48, SHY48, CKG48, and CGT48 established later, they are collectively called “SNH48 GROUP”.
